Biography:

Mavis Gragg is an art enthusiast based in Durham, NC. A seasoned attorney and conservation professional, Mavis’ work focuses on sustainable protection and growth of family generational wealth.

Mavis’ entrance into the art world began in Washington, D.C. where she served as a docent at the prestigious Corcoran Gallery of Art. She is a founder of Black Girl Basel and serves on the North Carolina Museum of Art Foundation board of directors and the Nasher Friends’ board.

Mavis is also an avid collector and the co-founder of Pop Box Art Gallery, a zero-commission art gallery that exhibited works by Triangle artists in2022 at BoxYard RTP.

Mavis is an alumna of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Pepperdine University School of Law.
