Artist Statement:

Wind gently whispering over water and land. Light streaming through mist, refracted into a rainbow. Trees standing majestically, accepting of the burdens you lay on their waiting branches. Do you remember being here? Do you remember the feeling of being welcomed in nature?

My work captures these emotions in large scale immersive formats. Influenced by abstract and textile art, I stitch collages and kinetic sculptures that bring the viewer into an altered perspective, one where they can feel the wonder and acceptance of the natural world. Nature embraces us all and my work aims to remind the audience of the egalitarian wonder of our planet. (Photos by Sarah Ford Photography)
