After a bit of a studio hiatus in October, jumping back in this month was a refreshing shift. Still coming out of the mental fog of my new reality, my goal for this month was to find clarity and structure in my studio practice again. My perspectives about the world and society are changing and growing by the day (for the better) and I found myself in a deep vision casting for what I want my future to look like.
In a new living space, I began to brainstorm new possibilities for my work. An opportunity for a solo display in downtown Raleigh Q1 of 2021 also inspired me to dream bigger and plan for large scale works toward the ladder end of the month to come to life in December.
