Artist Bio:
Jamaica Gilmer is a relentless hope architect, strategist, storyteller, photographer, and curator. She is the founder and former executive director of The Beautiful Project - an organization dedicated to telling the stories of Black girls, gender expansive youth, and women. For the past 20 years, she has used images to document the vision and sight of revolutionaries and organizers around the world. Jamaica is committed to telling sacred stories of possibility through interdisciplinary making.
