As the conceptual brainstorming, testing, and launch of the Art Studio Insights Podcast came to life, I reached out to Brian as a local podcast mentor and we soon become good friends. As we stay connected over the last few months, it seemed only fitting that my first podcast appearance as a guest would be on his podcast.

In this conversation, we talk about the pivot points in our entrepreneurial journies, how sports growing up shaped our disciplined work ethic, and some fun stories that shaped my creative point of view today.

“The Just Get Started Podcast is all about the "getting started" moments that people have taken to overcome their fear, anxiety, and self-limiting beliefs to get on the road to a more fulfilling life and the lessons, stories, and insights shared in each episode are little morsels that you might be able to use to help you get started or move along on your own journey in life.”

Learn about the book in Brian’s words:

“I believe that we all have the opportunity to live a fulfilling life once we uncover our Trifecta of Happiness, which lies at the intersection of finding something we love, something we can be great at through hard work, and something that makes an impact on ourselves and others. None of this can be possible without experiencing new adventures and conquering the obstacles that get in the way. Discovery is part of our journey and why it is so important to break outside our comfort zone by finding the courage to Just Get Started.

This book, Luke’s 1st Round of Golf, is centered around this central theme! Luke is continuing to discover and learn about golf, through his Father, before getting out to the golf course and experiencing first-hand all the ups and downs of the game. The many emotions that we all go through with just getting started are experienced in this book; excitement, impatience, fear, focus, resilience, and happiness. Finally, the underlying message of the relationship between Luke and his Father points squarely to the fact that we all need support systems on our journey and it is the individuals that provide positive reinforcement and encouragement while teaching us important lessons, are extremely vital to our long term success.”
