Artspace, the place where my community facing art studio is, was recently featured on the PBS show “NC Weekend”. The wonderful host, Deborah Holt Noel, visited our studios and toured the building as an opportunity to celebrate one of the many incredible creative spaces in North Carolina.

Art Around Town is a community art project for the residents of Garner and artists from surrounding areas to participate in a temporary art exhibit that will illustrate community and natural beauty and bring joy, healing, and civic engagement.

This art studio space changed my life. Over the past year I have grown, learned, created artwork and overcome milestones that I didn't even think were possible. To say this space changed my life is an understatement. New adventures await but I wanted to share my love letter I wrote to the space the day I moved in on July 2020.
